This property is an acceptable choice for those on a budget and those who want to be close to the city centre but in a more habitual amsterdam environment. 06/2006/jg. The hotel is located in a ultramodern corner building habitual to the area. Both guest rooms and bathrooms vary in size and color schemes, however they are nothing fancy and are in very basic condition. The breakfast room boasts an old style surroundings with habitual dutch style tiled floor and tall dark wooden wall panelling. The bar is kept in the same style as the breakfast room and connected to the lobby. The lobby is petite in size and opens up to the breakfast room and hotel bar. This hotel is situated by the overtoom which, although not in the heart of the city, is a 20 minute walk to the leidseplein or a 5 minute tram ride away (tram #1. Tram#17 goes to centremost station in about 15 minutes). The overtoom itself has abundant restaurants, shops and bars which are popular with the locals and is a short walk from the famous vondel park.

From amsterdam schiphol airport: approximate distance to the hotel is 10 kilometres. From the airport take the a4 toward amsterdam. Follow the a10 west/zaanstad. Take exit 106 and turn right at the traffic lights. The hotel is located on the square. There is a railway station in the terminal's centremost hall under schiphol plaza. Direct trains run to amsterdam centraal station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol travel taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses run regularly to amsterdam and other cities. From centraal station take tram line 1 direction osdorp and alight at surinameplein.
