Reutte - a gateway to austria on the border with germany. Base yourself in reutte for excursions into the surrounding mountains of the tyrol. Or for exploring the plush history of the district - neuschwanstein castle and the ruins of ehrenberg are just two of the local attractions. Close enough for a short walk to the centre, yet nestling at the foot of our favourite hills. The extensive garden, the sun terrace, the mountain panorama, the play district and the small outside pool are all invitations to stop and tarry a while. The rooms in hotel tannenhof are all something a small bit special and offer hotel guests an memorable view of the local mountain scenery. Twelve of the rooms have been freshly decorated in a light and amiable wood and furnished with balconies. Some of them have been decorated with apple greenish under the principles of feng shui. The older dozen rooms are decorated in a conventional tyrolean style and most of them boast large balconies. The comfy ambience has been enhanced by the fresh and inviting colour schemes chosen by frau foidl. Our attic rooms allow guests to awake to the initial rays of the sun and go to sleep under starlight. Sauna and massage area: the sauna in the basement of the hotel is a five-person sauna that can be used at any time by all guests. A relaxation district and showerwc are also available. There is a charge of 5, 00 euros per person.Breakfast is served from 07.30 to 10.00 in the light non-smoking room with terrace. Sample the varied buffet with fresh rolls and wholemeal bread from the village bakery; freshly-cooked eggs - either fried or scrambled; dissimilar kinds of cheese or sausages, ; juices for that morning burst of energy; a small tea bar with a selection of herbal teas; and muesli-corner with yoghurt and dissimilar sorts of jam. eatery with bar: chef nikolaus foidl and his team cook for our guests twice a day - midday between 11.30 and 14.00 and in the evening from 18.00 to 21.00. The menu in the tannenhof offers hearty local and international dishes, which reflect the specialities of the seasons of the year.

Book half-board and the specialities prepared by nikolaus foidl will make your tastebuds sing!Drive in the direction of the tannheimertal from reutte, over the bridge to lechaschau. From there turn right on a small road in the direction of hinterbichl. The hotel is located at the end of a driveway and signposted off to the left of the road.
