For your holidays in chianti, a pleasant hamlet of houses built around a fortified castle dating back to the 12th century which gave origin to the charming little town of greve in chianti. Montegonzi is situated in a tranquil and panoramic location, nestling deep amidst vineyards and olive groves and offering beautiful extensive views over the surrounding landscape and breathtaking sunset. This hamlet has been recently and skilfully restored preserving its architectural original features and using ancient stones and materials. To make your holidays in chianti simply perfect, the property comprises comfortable apartments of various sizes, all of which nicely decorated in a tuscan rustic style. At guests’ disposal : a beautiful garden furnished with sun-beds, sun-umbrellas and tables, swimming pool (12 x 6 m – greatest depth 1, 5 m – open from 01/04 to 31/10) situated in a panoramic location, shared barbecue, private furnished outdoor area for each apartment. Washing-machine in the commun laundry, iron and iron board available on invite as well as hairdryers. The access to the property is via an unpaved road not relevant for sports cars. Covered parking within the grounds. Maid service available by arrangement (payment on the spot). extra bed and baby bed available on invite at no aditional cost. little pets are allowed. In summer organized dinners by the pool and wine tasting tours to the castle in front of the property, montefioralle castle. All guests can partecipate to organized mountain-bike tours, recommended shopping in the outlets, cooking or pottery lessons, wine tasting tours, guided tours in groups or individual with private driver, service to/from airports and many other activities according to the period.We also possess facilities at the nearby “ugolino golf club” which is only 15 km away from greve.

By car: -follow the motorway until the exit firenze sud. -follow the signs to ponte a ema. -follow the signs to grassina and then to strada in chianti. -then follow the signs to greve in chianti and then to panzano in chianti.-at panzano follow the signs to mercatale val di pesa after nearly 4 km turn right at the sign on the road. -take a country road for about 2 km then follow the signs to montegonzi. Take care on the access road as it is an unsealed country road that can be difficult if you are not accustomed to unsealed roads
