Having only opened in 2005, the hotel has paid choosy consideration to detail in the furnishings and decor and prides itself on its location, being no more than a 15 minute walk from the lovely rialto bridge and st. Mark's square. However, if guests prefer to use the water-bus (vaporetto), then the stop is literally outside the hotel's front door (guests should also note there is a direct water-bus link to marco polo airport from outside the hotel). All rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities, individually activated climate control, minibar, cable tv, internet access and telephone. Guests at the vecellio are sure to appreciate that matteo, the owner of the hotel and a true-blooded venetian, is nearly always on hand to assist guests with suggestions as to places to visit, restaurants to experience and bars to enjoy! Transportation:	Hotel vecellio is in the northern part of venice called fodamente nuove just in front the main vaporetto lines (41-42-51) plus the alilaguna line, the shuttle to the airport.To reach us is pretty easy, from any venetian terminal (terminal car or railway station) catch lines n. 41-42-51 and get off the boat stop of fondamente nuove, the hotel is a few meters by the boat stop.From the airport is calm very easy, catch the alilaguna service, in 25 minutes youll be just in front the hotel vecellio.
