General Description:	Aire valley guest residence is situated on the great ocean road in the gorgeous aire valley near cape otway. Perched on a hill, 400 metres above sea level, the panoramic views take in the valley, river, lakes, lush emerald pastures and the tall trees of the otway national park. Guest rooms are spacious with lofty ceilings and ample natural light. Bedrooms acquire ensuite shower or bathrooms, crisp, pearly linen, views and french doors that open onto the wide, sweeping veranda. The guests" lounge has snug chairs in front of a big open log fire. Evening meals and breakfast are served on the veranda overlooking the valley or in the lounge on colder days (by the log fire). See if you can spot our koala that visits us. Spend a couple of days exploring all the scenic sites along the great ocean road. The otways are great for walking in and we acquire a number of short walks close by. Relax in the evening and make the maximum of a candlelit dinner in front the roaring log fire. Breakfasts include bacon and eggs, grapefruit from the garden, fresh bread, cereals and fruit. Evening meals are a speciality as they are made with fresh produce from the local locality and the garden. A three course set menu is $35 per head, 2 courses for $30. Menu changes daily. We are fully licensed and acquire a wide range of fabulous australian wines from all around australia (margaret river, adelaide hills, barossa, hunter valley, coonawarra, the yarra valley and the mornington peninsula). A large selection of australian and international beers is also available.

Transportation:	Aire valley eatery guest dwelling is on the great ocean road, 26km west of apollo bay, 23km east of lavers hill and 70km on the melbourne side of the twelve apostles and port campbell. Please use a map, not a navman or similar as unhappily a navman will try to take you down roads that don't exist and despite telling them these roads don't exist anymore, they tell me that they do, but they don't! The new geelong bypass is great and saves about half an hour in travel time now. If on the great ocean walk, we can arrange carry from all pick up points.
