General Description:	Le meridien (?????) The le meridien hotel is attributed to the trendy first class hotel of 4-star grade, built in 1987. The hotel is situated in a peaceful spot, on the outskirts of hamburg, to the south of the city center. It is surrounded by farmland on 3 sides, which includes a small picturesque lake. On the other side is the motorway with excellent access to hamburg and the whole north of germany, taking you about 20 minutes to the nearest subway station(wilhelmaburg) on foot from this hotel. There are 147 guestrooms. All of the rooms are large and pleasantly decorated and many have a country house/laura ashley style decor. There are large king sized beds in the single and double rooms, and queen sized beds in the twin rooms. They are very comfortable, with lots of natural light. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition. Furthermore, they have been installed with the satellite tv, direct dial telephone, radio and minibar, etc. Of the hotel's 3 restaurants, the cafe is the most informal. The brasserie is also quite informal and appropriately furnished. The carte restaurant has a more formal and elegant style, all of which offer various patterns of international and local cuisine. The lobby area is large and open plan with the reception desk facing the entrance. Large windows make for a light and airy atmosphere. There is a cream marble floor and pillars, and chalked oak timber walls. There is also plenty of comfortable seating. With regard to the health and sport equipment, the hotel has set up the swimming pool, sauna and sunshine bath room, simultaneously, fitting out the conference hall for different requirements of the guests.
