This is a simple but elegant, a friendly but stylish hotel. The location is fine and everything within and around is unique. 0506 hm. A scarlet 5 storey lofty historical building. The rooms are simple decorated with wooden floor boards, pearly walls and plenty of light. All bathrooms are tiled with black marble and mid-range in size. All rooms were in former times the chambers of monks as the building was a former monastery. The graceful decorated restaurant on the ground floor offers excellent food and is also well known on the local market. The restaurant was the former chapel of the monastery and is decorated a bit in a style of a chapel, which actually creates a very distinctive atmosphere. The petite lobby with a petite brown reception desk and a seating locality on the right side of the entrance. When you enter the lobby you will see a monk sitting opposite the reception desk. He looks real but is made of papermache. The hotel is located right within the city in the bustling belgian quarter. There are lots of pubs, bars, restaurant and clubs around in this locality and the hotel is located in the quiet brusseler street within walking distance to all attractions of cologne.
