General Description:	Tikehau pearl beach resort is an exotic luxury destination located on the tikehau atoll, narrow strips of land surrounding a 16 mile interior lagoon. Transportation to this island is available by contacting air tahiti at 011 689 86 4242. The airport is approximately three miles away on motu tuherahera. This island is part of the tuamotu islands archipelago, with a crown of tiny islets and an interior lagoon 16 miles across. Located on a secluded pink sand beach, the resort offers direct access to the beautiful lagoon, a dive center, and a swimming pool. Additionally, guests may enjoy the following activities offered onsite, or in the area; snorkelling, canoeing, kayaking, sunset cruise and picnics. The resort's poreho restaurant will keep guests' palates entertained. There are 24 over-water bungalows and suites, 13 beach bungalows (six with air conditioning). Over-water bungalows have glass floor panels for viewing the lagoon's several tropical sea life.
