| Transportation: |
Innerleithen lies 28 miles south of edinburgh, 5 miles south of peebles on the a72. Approaching from the north (edinburgh), take the second turning left on entering the village into hall street, just opposite the right turn to traquair with a church on the corner. Our sign is on this corner above a red telephone box. If coming from the south east (galashielsmelrose), go through the village, past caldwell's ice cream shop and turn off to the right at the west end of the village. If coming from the south or south east on the b709 (moffat or langholm and eskdalemuir) follow the b709 single track road from the gordon arms in the yarrow valley past traquair, entering innerleithen past the car park for the innerleith mtb trails and the bridge over the river tweed. This brings you past the church to the junction above. Go straight over into hall street and follow directions as above. Note that sat navs are not certain in finding us once you are in the village. Use the above directions.
