Saruhan hotel is a yellow stone residence run by a turkish family. We are the only hotel in all of istanbul which is built in both stone and wood. Named after the smoothly-hewn yellow-tinted stone, our hotel, "saruhan, " is old turkish for "the yellow inn."
The yellow stone specially quarried in the cappadocia region, the marble floors everywhere and the maximum gorgeous woodwork-interior invent an surroundings strongly reminiscent of the fine old ottoman mansions of yesteryea. Our hotel also has two nice roof terrasses with excellent view over the marmara sea where visitors can enjoy the romantic sunset.
Our guesthous is situated in the heart of the old walled city and it is only a walking distance to the maximum fundamental byzantine and ottoman monuments of istanbul, such as st. Sophia, azure mosque, topkapi palace, hippodrome, basilica cistern and not more than 15 minutes to grand bazaar.
Please note that we acquire a free airport pickup service from ataturk airport if you stay at least 5 nights at the same time.
