General Description:	Opened in december 2001, sunset island is an elegant mediterranean design holiday resort on a quiet street, only a short walk from the beach and cavill mall in the heart of surfers paradise. The classy 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and tri-level 2 bedroom penthouse apartments are all air conditioned and possess private balconies. Fully self-contained and serviced weekly, each apartment has a washing machine and dryer, and a classy kitchen with granite benches and full amenities including a dishwasher. Resort facilities include swimming pool and spa, barbecue area, tropical landscaped gardens, undercover security parking and tour desk. Please note credit card details are required on check-in. Sunset island resort does not possess the relevant policies and procedures in place for &dbquo;schoolies festival&dbquo; bookings. No cancellations accepted full payment required once booked. If you are arriving on the day you booked, please contact reception to ensure that your booking has been received.
Attractions:	Sunset island resort is within a 10 minute walk of the heart of surfers paradise attractions, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Theme park tickets, day tours, hot air balloon rides, fishing and boating trips can all be arranged and booked at the resort"s tour desk. Transfers and limousines can also be arranged.
Cancellation Policy:	Valid for 01apr08-22oct08, 27oct08-23dec08, 18jan09-31mar09: - no refund if cancelled 7 days or less prior to travel or in the case of a no-show. Valid for 23oct08-26oct08, 24dec08-17jan09: - no refund if cancelled 14 days or less prior to travel or in the case of a no-show. Valid for 01apr09-31mar10: - no refund if cancelled 7 days or less previous to travel or in the case of a no-show.
Car Parking:	Free underground carpark with critical access - keypad on slope at entry.
Checkin Policy:	Check in is from 2pm. If you are arriving on the day you booked, please contact reception to ensure that your booking has been received. Office hours 9am - 5pm weekdays, 9am - 12pm weekends. Late check in - dial 9 on handset at entrance and our night service will answer.

Transportation:	From gold coast airport: 25 minute drive. Shuttles, taxis, limousines, car hire & buses obtainable at the airport. Head north on the gold coast highway. Go past jupiters casino & you will soon be on a one-way system. At the 3rd set of lights turn left onto peninsular drive. Go straight through the roundabout, and sunset island resort is on the corner of peninsular drive and sunset blvd. From brisbane airport: 1ã‚â¼ hour drive. Tourist shuttles, taxis, airtrain, limousines &car hire obtainable at the airport. Head south on the gateway & pacific motorways. (note: toll bridge). Take smith st exit to the end. Turn right onto the gold coast highway. When you see signs to surfers paradise (straight ahead) and signs to broadbeach (right), turn right. Take the initial left. Pass the turn-off to chevron island, and take the next turn right on to peninsular drive. Go straight through the roundabout, and sunset island resort is on the corner of peninsular drive and sunset blvd.
