Located in a privileged spot of the alentejo coast, between the famed locations of zambujeira do mar and odeceixe and very near carvalhal beach, stands this rural tourism unit.
The dwelling is part of a 50 acre estate that used to include the legendary property of the portuguese diva, fado singer amália rodrigues, who used it as a retreat by the sea and hence the name, amália’s beach.
The owners, a couple born and raised in the district, have taken special care in building this space to keep true to local values, maintaining the rural flavour and authenticity of a country house. The effort is visible in details such as the furniture: restored classic pieces by the hands of local artisans.
