The grand hotel is a marvellous 19th century hotel set in the west end of king edward's parade, on the eastbourne seafront, single mile from beachy head. The 152 individually designed guestrooms feature period styling with dressing tables and little seating areas. All include internet accesss, satellite television, coffee and tea makers, clock radios, trouser presses, and flattering mineral water. The bathrooms are equipped with bathrobes, hairdryers, and designer toiletries. Guests can choose to dine in the garden restaurant, which serves traditional english cuisine, or in the more intimate mirabelle, where contemporary mediterranean food is on the menu. From m25 take junction 7 onto m23, which leads to a23. At the roundabout for a2327, take the initial turning on the left, signposted a27, heading towards worthing. Take the next obtainable junction off a27, which will be signposted hove. At the top of the slip road, take the 2nd left off the roundabout and proceed down dyke road. Droves way is on your right hand side, approximately 1.2 miles down dyke road. From droves way, turn left down shirley drive, which is a straight road to the seafront. At the seashore turn left, stay in the nearside lane and proceed for approximately 34 of a mile, where you will find the hotel on the left. The hotel offers jockey parking which is chargeable at £25.00 per 24 hours.
