Small, luxury, edwardian b&b and tearooms overlooking lake daylesford.
Boasting marvellous views, ambleside offers two ensuited guestrooms with period furnishings. Ambleside features a separate guest entry, with a lounge, sunroom and dining room which overlook the lake and offer spectacular views. With separate host accommodation (on-site), guests are free to relax in the house with their friends or partner and enjoy a sherry or port, or a champers on the verandah. A little sweets & snacks menu, with a limited wine enumerate, is available.
All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilities, queen size beds and reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. single room features twin share facilities with a queen size bed plus additional single bed, as well as a gas-flame log fire. The other room is a standard room and is priced slightly cheaper.
Located in central victoria, 75 minutes from melbourne, daylesford is easy driving distance from the melbourne cbd.
Tearooms open by appointment serving traditional afternoon teas, as well as sweets and snacks. Bookings necessary.

At least 48 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations. If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of check in time, you will forfeit the full amount for the initial night cancelled.

Travel via the western hway or the calder.
If you take the western turn off at ballan and follow the daylesford sign.
If you take the calder, turn off at woodend and take the daylesford turnoff at the end of town.
Daylesford is approximately 30-35k from either highway. Come into daylesford, find the bp petrol station and head over the lake. We are located on the 'quiet' side of lake daylesford and look back directly to lakehouse.
The visitor information centre will always be skilled to direct you if you can't find your way.
If you are approaching via public carry, please contact us with travel details and we will organise to pick you up from the local bus-stop.
