The scottish borders offers an unhurried way of life. Our magnificent countryside offers relaxing roads, history and heritage, castles and country homes. In addition, exquisite sandy beaches and an awesome rugged coast line are all within an hours drive. Come and stay for a few days or longer at larkhall burn the choice base for a visit to the scottish borders and beyond. A wealth of things to do and see within an hours drive, encompassing edinburgh and the highlands to the north, hadrian's wall, alnwick castle and gardens to the south, holy island and st abbs head to the east, and st mary's loch to the west. Our self catering cottages are situated on the hillside each with its own balcony, affording views of the town and surrounding countryside. Each cottage is purpose built offering modern comfy accommodation which is fitted out to the highest standards. The location is within a minutes walk of the town centre and all its amenities and facilities, so you can leave the car behind in the on-site car park and enjoy a choice of restaurants, pubs (some with local evening entertainment) a fitness centre with 25m swimming pool, tennis and squash courts. In addition, there are customary farmers and continental markets held in the town centre; annual festivals which include the jedburgh callants festival at the end of june and the start of july and the jedburgh half marathon in october. Our cottages may not be pertinent for persons with walking difficulties.

Larkhall burn cottages are purpose built self catering cottages which are set in several acre of private grounds close to the centre of the historic royal burgh of jedburgh in the scottish borders.

| Transportation: |
North or south take the a68 to jedburgh, market place, take exchange street. Turn immediately left into burn wynd, go right to the end of the road and larkhall burn is in front of you. Follow the drive round the dwelling, to our guests car park.
