Transportation:	From munich franz josef strauss airport (muc): distance to haus international is 30 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. The airport train station is located on the basement level between the two terminals. The s1 and s8 s-bahn trains go to munich's hauptbahnhof (main train station). Trains depart every 20 minutes and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. A one ticket costs 8.80 eur and must be validated before taking the escalator down to the platforms. The lufthansa airport bus also goes to the hauptbahnhof, departing every 20 minutes. A one ticket costs 9.50 eur. Take the u2 from the hauptbahnhof to hohenzollernplatz and then the number 53 bus or number 12 tram to barbarastrasse, the street running parallel to the hotel.
