Hill view cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom, stone built cottage in the centre of corbridge, northumberland. The three star, self catering cottage has been lovingly refurbished by its owners retaining its original features. The living room is large with two 2 seater sofas and a dining table which seats 6. The inglenook fireplace and electric stove are a characteristic of the room. There is a doubled room with cast iron fireplace and a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds. The original sash windows remain in the front of the property, secondary doubled glazing helps to keep the property relaxing and warm. There is a shower room/wet room downstairs and the kitchen is small but functional with brand new units fitted in punctual 2007. To the rear of the property there is a small enclosed patio district with table and chairs seating 4 people. This district is south-facing and is ideal to sit enjoying the sunshine during the warmer months. Its location in corbridge is unbeatable. The cottage is adjacent to a 16th century church and opposite the ‘off the wall’ art gallery. Within walking distance are amenities such as shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. There is also an array of food shops, such as butcher, baker, fishmonger and a fruit and vegetable shop in case you decide to cook. If you want to venture a small further, northumberland has much to discover: quaint villages, spiffing seaside towns and relaxing countryside. The cottage is ideal for walking, cycling or ambling around.
