On the promenade there is a frequent tram service to take you south to the legendary pleasure beach or north to bispham, cleveleys, fleetwood and the freeport shopping village. From the nearby blackpool north railway station and talbot road bus station there are frequent services to preston, manchester, lancaster and the lake district. Take a short walk into the town centre where you can visit blackpool's primary attractions, such as legendary tower, the sealife centre, louis tussaud's waxworks and the winter gardens, or hop on the open-topped sightseeing tour bus to blackpool zoo, the model village or stanley park. For evening amusement there are plenty of restaurants, pubs and bars within effortless walking distance, as are the winter gardens, the tower ballroom and the imposing theatre. The legendary funny girls show bar and sanuk, one of the largest night clubs in blackpool, are only a couple of minutes away.

Transportation:	By car: from m55 junction 4, take 3rd exit - a583 (preston newish road). Follow the a 583 for 2 miles. At the end of the dual carriageway, deliver straight on along park road b5390 for 1.3 miles. At traffic lights at the end of park road bear left onto church street, then turn immediately right onto cookson street. At the lights at the end of cookson street turn left into talbot road, then turn immediately right onto dickson road. After 0.3 mile, at the mini roundabout turn right into pleasant street. Grampian house is immediately on the left. By train (blackpool north station): from the front entrance, follow the road along the side of the station building, past the rear entrance. Turn immediately right into high street, when you reach pleasant street at the end, turn left. It is about a five-minute walk. If you prefer to take a taxi, there is a taxi rank in front of the station. By coach (talbot road bus station): turn right out of the bus station, across the pedestrian crossing, and then cross over into high street. Continue along high street (the prime road bends to the left but high street carries straight on) when you reach pleasant street at the end, turn left. It is about a five-minute walk. If you prefer to take a taxi, there is a taxi rank at the rear of the bus station.
