| General Description: |
Centrally located in the scottish coastal town of eyemouth, churches is a ultramodern hotel with traditional values in graceful surroundings. The original building on the corner of 'albert and victoria', was built in 1790 for use as a church manse, and then later converted into a hotel. It was extensively renovated and refurbished in 2000. The six guest rooms, each with private facilities, are individually designed and furnished to the highest standards. The landscaped garden contains a paved pergola and sun terrace for outside dining on warmer days. At churches, great emphasis is placed on quality dining. The regularly changing menu uses only the finest produce and offers a selection of dramatic seafood and meat dishes. Select from either the formal four star restaurant or the more relaxed dining surroundings in the conservatory, which has views over the harbour. The cocktail bar is the perfect place to unwind in luxurious surroundings. Edinburgh is within easy reach of eyemouth. It is ideal for experiencing the wonderful unspoilt berwickshire and northumberland coastlines with their gorgeous beaches and historic castles. Horse riding, an abundance of golf courses and excellent trout and salmon fishing are available locally.
