The graceful ebony bar is open daily from 10:00 and provides the ideal place in which to unwind and enjoy wraps, baguettes, tapas and paninis, whilst sampling a wide range of real ales, extra cold lagers or a glass of new world wine.

This former coaching inn, with parts 400 years old, is situated in the centre of this downland village.
Reopened in 2006 after a total refurbishment, the whitish horse now has a dozen en suite rooms decorated in a trendy style. Our eatery has gained a reputation for serving quality modern english cuisine. The ebony bar is a urbane oasis to relax with a glass of new world wine, local real ale or a speciality coffee.
