The hotel is situated in the stylish bloomsbury district, once home to dickens and virginia woolf comprising grade ii listed georgian town-houses, almost 200 years old. This lends the hotel it’s special character, full of fascinating original features, with each room decorated differently, making the stay feel more personal than at a uniform looking modern hotel. The hotel has been with the same family since 1964 and is run by lucia geyer together with her three sons, hans, stefan, karl, and daughter maria-lisa.
