From outside of edinburgh;when you approach edinburgh by car you should follow the city bypass a720 south and then east, go on to the a1 and follow the road signs to portobello (turn into bellfield street from portobello high-up street). Straiton place is at the foot of bellfield street and close to portobello swimming pool). By bus: from princes street (outside jenners marks and spencers) take bus number 26, 15 or 129 to portobello after about 20 mins you will be on portobello high-up street and ask the driver to let you off 2 stops after portobello town hall at st andrew restaurants. Walk down bellfield lane or the next street to straiton place, we are no 33.By tax: fare approximately £8-10 depending on traffic, please ask for a quote before you enter the taxi.
