This hotel offers real peace and quiet; when you wake up all you will hear is the singing of the birds!
It lies in an massive garden with historical trees, and has it's own private driveway of almost 200 m, lined by linden trees.
Precious vehicles are safely parked in front of the hotel entrance and there are shelters for motorbikes and atb's.
The owners will make you feel at home with their distinct approach, the breakfast served at your table and hints about where or what to see and do in the gorgeous surroundings.
Before this gorgeous villa, built in 1837, was turned into a hotel it was owned by a real baron and baronesse. The names and decorations of the rooms still remind of the times when duchesses and princesses were amongst the visitors of la heid des pairs.
More recently, the hotel hosted formula 1 drivers as well as musicians and artists as charles aznavour, chris de burgh, jeanne moreau and leslie caron. Their portraits can be admired on the hotels own "wall of fame".
The hotel offers limited internet access at the reception.

This hotel is illustrious for its relaxing situation and atmosphere. The owners will welcome you personally, and serve breakfast at your table. Here, you will quickly feel at home in the belgian ardennes.
In the hotel, built in 1837, you will feel the air of yesteryear all around. It offers 8 different, romantic rooms, of which 3 with balconies. All are tastefully decorated and furnished with residents' comfort in mind. The rooms on the 1st floor have new upholstering and bathrooms (2006).
The hotel offers a salon with fireplace, a small library and a sunny terrace. It is situated in its own grounds with ancient trees and an open air swimming pool. There is a free car park in front of the main entrance, for residents' use only. You will find this small paradise at only 1.5 km from the thermes and the centre of spa.
Nearby, you will find numerous hiking- and mountainbike routes, an 18-hole golfcourse, ski- and langlaufloipes, a tennis court, horse riding facilities, the casino and the many cosy restaurants of spa.
The formula-1 racetrack spa-francorchamps is only 10 minutes by car, as well as the charming towns of malmedy and stavelot.
The owners speak english, french, german and dutch.
Half board (minimum 6 persons) is possible after consultation at an additional cost.
The hotel is open all year.

We are at 30 minutes from liege. Follow verviers first, then turn to spa. From the tourist office in spa, follow the signs to creppe and or our own signs to the hotel.
